Did Australia ever have a civil war in its country?

Answer:
Australia has never had a civil war of either of the main types (a war for control of the country, or a war involving a breakaway region). There have been a number of uprisings by aboriginal people, especially in the 1800s. There was a rebellion by convict laborers in the 1800s. There has not been any large-scale internal battle or warfare.
