It is possible but not likely. Barack Obama was a graduate student at Harvard Law School, and there is some evidence he was a teaching assistant for Professor Laurence Tribe, who was a renowned legal scholar there. (Mr. Obama was helping with research for a book the professor was writing.) He may have taught an undergraduate class now and then, which graduate students often did. But Mr. Obama did teach for twelve years at the University of Chicago Law School.
