Yep - Dr. William H. Cosby, Jr., did a 4 year stint in the U.S. Navy as a Hospital Corpsman during the Korean War. He was stationed at Marine Corps Base Quantico, and also at Bethesda Naval Hospital. It was when working with returning injured Korean War Vets that Cosby realized what he wanted to do with his life, and subsequently embarked on his journey toward attaining his Ph. D in Education. Many of his comedy routines and TV shows have some type of educational message in them.
