Jesus travelled all over the lands of Judea, Galilee and the surrounding areas during His physical lifetime. He appeared there to more than 500 people after His resurrection. He said that He would be in paradise the day of His death with the thief on the cross. And He said He goes to prepare a place for those who trust in Him. He is at the right hand of the Father.

According to Christian tradition, Jesus did go to Hell - to free the righteous people who had previously been unable to enter heaven. That is why in Dante's Inferno the gates to hell are permanently open, since Jesus forced them open when freeing the righteous.

This even is known as the Harrowing of Hell. In the Apostle's Creed, it states "He descended into Hell. On the Third Day he rose again".

but righteous people were not in hell? adam? enoc? noah? abraham? they were not in hell. because Christs sacrifice was an infinite and eternal one, times past present and future were, are and would be affected. therefore, if this was true, access to the atonement (sacrifice) was had Milena before it was even performed. in terms of Resurrection, a form of salvation, that key was seized on a time basis. he went to "prison" to teach the gospel to those who would have accepted it had they the opportunity in this life.

True christians who follow Jesus Christ are going to heaven as Jesus went to heaven. Hell is for those who reject the free salvation that was offered by the sacrificial death of Jesus by their life.

No one can judge that. My personal opinion is he probably did. The Bible indicates that Satan entered him. This means to me, he was not in control of his act. After the task was completed, Satan - I would think - then left his body. When he came to his mind, and realized what he did, he committed suicide. He was that distraught. Now, lets say you lost control of your mind; You blacked out. You then came to normal. Would you expect to be held accountable for your actions as bad as they may have been? You were not in control and neither was he. Jesus knew He had to be crucified. I believe Jesus forgave Judas, but this is just a personal opinion.

Jesus DID forgive Judas. He forgives any sin commited no matter what it is or what extent. This does not mean that Judas went to heaven though.

Jesus chose Judas not the other way round. Jesus hastened Judas along to get it done. "What you are doing,do more quickly" John 13:27

Like the guy up above said Satan entered him. Why did Jesus tell him to do it more quickly. The Jesus i know would have stopped him,but somebody had to be the fall guy,and be born to do this. I to believe that Jesus forgave him,and that`s my personal opinion has well.

No, he was a good person so he only went to heaven.

See Ephesians 4:9-10 In saying He ascended, what does it mean but tha He also descended into the lower regions, the earth. He who descended is the one who also ascended far above all the heavens that He might fill all things.

In short, yes. When He died Christ's Spirit literally descended to hell - the realm of the dead - and for 3 days He witnessed against the Demons in hell before ascending to Heaven.

Do people of other religions go to hell?

When you think of "Hell" you think of a fiery furnace, am I right? "Hell" is taken from the word "Hades" which means "the ground". Now we also think "Hell" is below us, which it isn't. In the subject of death and hell, "Hell" is actually "resting place"; "the ground". Now, when you're asking, "Do people of other religions go to hell?" the answer is that, I believe, someone from every religion will go to hell. When Jesus comes the second time, all those who have died are asleep but when Jesus comes again He is going to resurrect those who died in Him, and after the thousand years in heaven and we come down back to earth where Jesus will place the New Jerusalem on earth, He is going to resurrect the dead who rejected Him and they will all burn from God's glory however long they deserve. What people have misunderstood that people burn forever and ever, but that's not Biblical. What everyone thinks "Hell" is not going to happen until the Final Judgement where everyone who rejected Christ will receive "Hell"; they will burn according to what they knew and how they decided to make their decision.

Who was Jesus and what was hes missions?

Jesus is the son of God, sent from heaven, born of the virgun mary, to die on the cross and pay for all of our sins with his blood, so that who ever believes in him, may go to heaven. There is a heaven and a hell, and because of what Jesus did, we no longer have to perish in the firey pit of hell for all eternity. John 3:16 whosoever belives in Him(jesus) shall not perish, but hVe everlasting life. I hope that answers your question.

Who is hell intended for?

God created hell for Satan (Matthew 25:41 Then shall he say also unto them on the left hand, Depart from me, ye cursed, into everlasting fire (Hell), prepared for the devil and his angels). Those who do not follow Jesus will end up in hell since they chose to follow Satan instead of Jesus - the only way to heaven.
