The guy who wrote the first answer is ignorant; therefore, I erased his answer and am replacing it. Yes Latin America's music has an influence on the American (United States)'s music. How could it not? Like Alica below me says "[t]hink of artists today like Shakira, Pitbull, Enrique Iglesias," and Santana! These artists have been on the top 100 lists multiple times. How can that not be direct proof for influence?
