Did Lee Iacocca design the Ford Mustang?

Lee Iacocca had the vision of the Mustang and laid out the parameters for the car. it had to be a 4 seater, have bucket seats, a floor shifter, be no more than 180" long, weigh less than 2,500 pounds and sell for less than $2,500. Donald Frey help actually design and built the first Mustang prototype. Joe Oros created the first clay model of the Mustang. Others who had a hand in the Mustang and it's history are Carroll Shelby, Bob Tasca Sr., Jack Roush, Steve Saleen. & Larry Shinoda.
