Unlike Martin Luther King Jr.'s belief in nonviolence and integration, Malcolm believed that blacks should be separated from whites. That blacks were the superior race and should use any means necessary to defend themselves. He preached of the inherent evil of whites and natural superiority of blacks and even of violence.
