Zounds! I have never seen anything even suggesting Alcoholism in Cartoons as juvenile as the Disney Mice. You may be thinking of some other animal character. there were jokes about some comic book- never actually seen on the stands that had the punch line: Melvin the Fish drinks Booze! and Melvin would allegedly tail-stand like Flipper and intone- Be SHORE to reeeed my Comix! That"s Melvin The Fish, circa l968-9 and not any Disney production. There have been Disney characters who smoked, and numerous anti-religious angles, but no alcohol use, except maybe in restaurants scenes in Lady and the Tramp??
