Why did Muhammad begin to preach the existence of only one God?

because if wwe have different god for example the god of ocean of health or.... it means thea these gods are powerful just in one thing and they are weak in other aspects but we say God is the one who is pwerful in everything and he is a creator not a creature he wasn't born and he doesn't have a child if we had several god because they are actually weak they need a creator tha it means again God or allah.

When Prophet Adam came, and Islam was first created at the dawn of human kind, God always professed himself as one.
It's why the majority of Humans today on Earth are monotheistic.
There are philosophical proofs as to why this is true as well, but that should suffice.

The existence of one God is not a new message created by prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him). It was the call since start of universe creation. All God prophets called for the existence of one God; including Noah, Abraham, Moses, Jesus, and Muhammad (peace be upon them all). Prophet Muhammad called for one God through the Quran revealed ti him by God through the angel Gabriel (or Jibril). Islam religion had been founded by God; not by Muhammad; the same way are Christianity and Judaism religions.
