She claims she did not know who she was until after her death, but seeing as Venessa is from the same city that Selena is from (where she was very well known and loved by many), her statement that she did not know who Selena was is extremely questionable. It is possible that not everyone in Corpus Christi knew of Selena, I can tell you first hand that Venessa never listened to Tejano music and therefore was not aware of her (Selena)achievements. Not until her death, did the rest of the public realize how she impacted the US and the world. People would like to hate on Venessa and I think it is sad. Chris doesn't seem to be much of anything special.
