Apollo and Artemis were rare in that they were "bright" god children, clearly divine nature, never mind that Leto was a Titan goddess herself, as Zeus looked down on Earth, he could clearly tell these children were his own. They were also twin gods, something rare in ancient history but later well known to happen in the mythology of Greek gods and goddesses. Artemis with Apollo were appointed shortly after their birth to being two of the twelve Olympians, making them ruling gods beside their father.
