Did a tyrannosaur have defense?

Answer:
Tyrannosaurus Rex didn't really need a defense. It was the dominant predator of it's time because of it's gigantic mouth fit with teeth that are comparable to steak knives. Tyrannosaurus was very large and didn't have many dangers to deal with and would probably rely more on offense seeing as one bight from it could cause death to most anything.
