There are no actual records of this, but from the stories I've heard and some research the children would either live with relatives, grandparents and if they weren't available they were adopted. The sad part is, that often the relatives or adoptive parents couldn't afford to take all the siblings and they often would be lost from each other (going to different families.) When some became adults they persevered enough to actually look for their other sibling(s) and in many cases found them. This was quite common after WWII with the liberation of the Jews.
Baby deer usually grow up with there parents
When kids are at home alone and the parents are working the parent feels anxiety. The parents may call and check on the children repeatedly to make sure they are safe.
they can be scared to be alone
Good question. Some parents believe they failed as parents to raise their children "properly" and believe they're better off alone.
There isn't an age limit but most parents won't let there children walk alone until there about 11. But it is really there parents choice
the legal age is 12 to be left alone with siblings. Keep in mind though that even at 12 some children arnt mature enough to be left alone even without having to care for siblings as well.
no, they can live alone. my sims parents died so the teens were left to take care of their siblings...
A child must be at least 12 years old to stay home alone in Delaware. At this age, they can also babysit other children and siblings.
Depends on the parents. If he is untrusworthy, then no. If the parents trust him, then yes. Legally once you turn 12 you can stay at home by yourself.
He is alone
12yrs old is the youngest one can babysit and training is required. When it comes to children younger than that you will be leaving them alone. Depending on the children that may be OK depending on the situation, Ontario doesn't have a minimum age for leaving children alone because it is so hard to define. To be safe have your 12yr old attend a babysitting course. It will be educational and maybe even profitable as they could then babysit others.
I beleive it is 10 by theriselves and being able to watch their siblings, and 11 where they can watch other kids. :)
