Krypton was a red sun planet, as was Daxam, which spawned Mon-el. Daxam may be an anagram (or Jumble) of Adam-X Try it! Superman is vulnerable to red suns and his powers do not work on Red Sun planets!

What happened to Superman's planet?

It exploded. ... for some reason. The exact cause of the explosion tends to vary from story to story; sometimes it's natural (the people who write comic books tend not to be scientists, and apparently think that planets just explode sometimes because why not) and sometimes it's caused by the people living there doing something "unenvironmental" (see above parenthetical comment).

Who is Superman's father?

Superman's father is Jor-El, a scientist on the planet Krypton who foresaw its destruction and sent his son, Kal-El (Superman), to Earth to save him. Jor-El plays a significant role in Superman's origin story and his values.

Who was born on the planet krypton?

No, but there is an element, an inert- but radioactive gas, and it is used in making Cold Flares. Kryptonite seems to be patterned- for looks- from carnotite. in the story line White K or White Kryptonite which is an absolute defoliant- it saved Superman once from the skin plague of Krypton!- appears to be a take-off on White Phosphorous, not to burn things up! ( pun intended) White P is a powerful and unstable incendiary.

How many times is krypton in the Superman films?

If you're referring to the theatrical live action films, twice. First time in Superman:the movie, which is his origin story. You actually see krypton for almost half an hour in the film, with Marlon Brando as Jor-el. There's a small flashback in Superman 2, but it's just the same as what you saw in Superman 1. And then it's referenced as a plot point in Superman Returns, as Superman disappears to investigate the remain of Krypton. From what I've heard, they actually filmed scenes of a dead Krypton, and then cut the whole sequence out of the final cut. Some stills are available online if you search hard enough. Hope that answers your question...

How those superman become superman?

Superman is an alien from krypton which orbited a red star, our earth orbits a yellow star. when he came to earth his alien DNA started absorbing our yellow star's radiation (which was different radiation from krypton's red star), which gave him all his abilities. in a recent story line he actually absorbed too much yellow star radiation and overdosed.

Is kryptonite a mineral?

Kryptonite is a rock from a fictitious Superman story. But there is a mineral found in 2007 in siberia that has the exact same elements as the fictional stuff. all except flouride the element is nicknamed kryptonite but cannot be called that for the element of krypton so it is named jadarite for the town nearest to where it was found.

What is superman's life story?

Superman is the sole survivor of the fictional planet, Krypton. When his father, Jor-El, realized that the planet was about to be destroyed by a nuclear explosion, Jor-El sent his son in a starcraft to Earth. Superman was found by the Kents, who lived in Smallville, Kansas. The couple named the baby Clark. His superhuman powers grew, and when he was 18, his foster father showed Clark the spaceship that brought him to Earth. Clark left for Metropolis to be educated, and he secretly used his powers to help people. After saving a NASA spaceship, Lois Lane dubbed the hero "Superman." His foster parents then helped design a costume to hide his identity. As Clark Kent, he works for the Daily Planet and reports on Superman's feats.

Is the Superman reboot going to include the origin story?

Zack Snyder is planning to present the story of Krypton with the planet being shown as heavily populated cities. It is supposed to include the life of Kal-El from infancy on to when he is a young adult named Clark Kent working as a journalist. This is supposed to explain why he wants to become Superman after realizing he can help people by using his powers. It will be redone in a modern way and not completely remake what was already seen in the 1978 film.

Who has the copyright for Superman?

Warner Bros. and DC comics- but they lose them all over to the heirs of the Siegel and Shuster estate in 2013 as they already have reobtained the rights of the origin story involving Krypton.

Is the Superman movie made in 1978 likely to be the only one to start off with Krypton and the Kents finding Kal-El when he is a baby?

No- "Man of Steel" began with the origin story starting off with the destruction of Krypton and moving on to when Clark Kent was a child discovering he had abilities that ordinary human beings do not.

Who would win in a fight super man or batman?

Well my favourite hero is Batman because he is cool but I have to admit Superman could use his freeze breath, lazer eyes, super speed or super strength and kill batman in a second. Now if batman had some kryptonite that would be another story as super man is a native of planet krypton and all natives of krypton are harmed by kryptonite. But yes in a fight, super man would easily win.
