No. The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints (commonly called the "Mormon" Church) did not support slavery. Freed slaves were welcomed in early Mormon communities and many we baptized into the church. In fact, their opposition to slavery is one reason why Mormons were run out of Missouri, which according to the Missouri Compromise was to be a slave state.
Joseph Smith, founder of the Church, wrote of slavery in 1842, saying "It makes my blood boil within me to reflect upon the injustice, cruelty, and oppression of the rulers of the people. When will these things cease to be, and the Constitution and the laws again bear rule?" (see History of the Church vol 4 pg 544)
