Absolutely. The Declaration of Independence had discussed how Americans should have life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness, but the Constitution did not spell out the individual rights Americans were guaranteed. That is why the Founding Fathers decided it was important to be very specific, so that everyone would know exactly what rights they were promised. Thus, they created the Bill of Rights, and it was officially added to the Constitution in 1791. Among the rights are: freedom of speech, freedom of the press (what is today called the media), freedom of religion, and freedom to petition the government for a redress of grievances (to express peacefully your dis-satisfaction with what the government is doing).

The anti-federalist thought that without these "rights" actually stated in the constitution, it would give the national government a loop hole to mess with our natural liberties and have too much power. The federalists said that all these liberties were implied so they didn't need to be there. However, in the end the anti-federalists got the bills added.
The Bill of Rights was added to the American Constitution almost immediately after the Constitution itself was ratified because of the intention of the Constitution's writers to clarify the document's contents. As the Constitution's writers themselves recognized, the Constitution was intended to be a foundational document: its continued relevance would depend on further clarifications as the nation developed over time, with the Bill of Rights serving as the initial effort in this direction.
The Federalist were important because they helped to enlighten the public about a need for a constitution. The Federalists papers were written as a response to the anti-Federalist who were in disagreement over the newly created Constitution because it did not contain a bill of rights. By taking into consideration the concerns of the Federalists, the framers were able to construct The Constitution, which contains a Bill of Rights
Yes I would...if you understand the reason Alexander Hamilton, wanted to put into effect the Bill of Rights. He felt that human rights were "not specifically defined." Although there were arguments from James Madison, that the Constitution was clear on these rights, and did not need amended. However, Hamilton insisted, that it needed to be clearly stated. Madison was afraid that by "Amending" the Constitution, it would lead to further amendments, that would "change" the initial meaning of the Constitution.

The Bill of Rights was needed because some states (mainly New York and Virginia) wouldn't ratify the new Constitution in 1787. THey wanted some guarantees of personal liberties. They would ratify the Constitution if a bill of rights was added.

Many federalists simply didn't see the need for a Bill of Rights. They felt the Constitution did a sufficient job in balancing power between the national government and the states. The Bill of Rights was added to appease the anti-federalists.
There was a need for the new Constitution because the Articles Of Confederation were not enough to suffice the new nation. They lacked a Bill of Rights and weakened the new, unmatured America. The Constitution added the Bill of Rights and gave citizens basic freedoms, such as freedom of speech, freedom of religion, etc.
Why the bill of rights were added to the constitution. the bill of rights was added because the rest of the ones was not strong enough to handle all the citizens so they created the bill of rights and the bill of rights protect us from our government so if the government got to powerful we can decide weather we need the law or not and if they disagree we will be protected and still have our freedom without the government bossing us around like we don't have freedom.
