Difference between digital and film camera?

Answer:
film must be developed (enlarge small frame on film to larger specialized paper copy) this requires chemistry and generally cannot be done at home (unless you have a dark room).

Digital cameras can be viewed with a computer without developing the picture and can be printed on normal paper from most printers in order to have a physical copy of the photo.
