Laser printer photo paper vs. inkjet photo paper.
Laser printer photo paper and inkjet photo paper are two very different products. Laser printer technology is different from inkjet technology; it requires a paper able to withstand the high heat that literally melts the ink onto the paper. Regular inkjet photo paper melts in laser printers, as the finish is not designed to endure the high heat process of laser photo printing. Because of the different technologies involved, more manufacturers offer inkjet photo paper and it tends to be less expensive than laser printer photo paper.

I don't think that's a good idea.
Many photo papers have a coating that causes the sprayed-on ink to look more vibrant. That coating could stick to the drum or other heated surface inside a laser printer. It could be a costly mistake, depending on the paper coating.
A dot matrix printer uses uses a pin to touch a ribbon with ink on it to a piece of paper, which in turn leaves a dot on the page. The cheaper dot matrix printers have 9 pins and these pins are close together and the combination of dots forms the picture.
A laser printer uses a special ink called toner, which is coated onto the page in the form of whatever you are printing. The page with ink then moves over a very hot metal roller which burns the ink to the page.
Dot matrix are noisy archaic monsters that print by using a set of needles that poke ink into the shape of a character. An ink jet printer sprays a fine mist of ink onto the paper, and a laser printer uses thermal set toner and melts ink onto paper.

desk jet cartridges are cheap than laserjet but it is slow printing and laserjet is high price then deskjet and also deskjet print slowly and laserjet prints fast
Laser is the fastest printer.
The difference is the technology used in the printing. The dot matrix printer uses a matrix of needles that press through an inked ribbon to leave marks on the paper. The laser printer uses a roller system to leave charged area on the paper which attracts toner (fine particles of pigment) to stick to the paper. The dot matrix printer is largely obsolete nowadays; it has been replaced by laser/ink jet and thermal systems which are much quieter - making them more suitable for office and home use.
Laser printer is the best printer on all these three categories.
It is laser printers a famous scientist told me
Laser printer, then inkjet, then dot matrix, then thermal printers.
No, a dot matrix printer has small pins that hit a ribbon of ink. A laser printer uses toner type ink.
Depend on type of Printer. A laser, LED or electrostatic printer, YES. Dot matrix or Thermal Printer, No.
Another name for a laser printer is an LED Printer. LED stands for Light Emitted Display. Laser Printers are more common in business than in the home, but they can work in either.
dot matrix, ink jet, laser
Yes, "dot matrix" is an older type of printer that you don't see much now, because inkjet and laser printers have become standard.
An ink jet printer simply prints. A color laser copier COPIES. This is the significant difference between the two.
"Depending on the amount of dots used in the picture, dot matrixes can be very clear. How ever, most people and businesses prefer to use injet printers, because images are not created by groups of dots, and can be printed on regular 8 1/2x11 paper."
