in the Moore finite state machine model output depends only on the present state.

but in the mealy model the output depends on the both present state and the input.

this is the main difference

The difference between Moore and Mealy machines are its outputs. Moore state machines' output are a function of the previous state and inputs. Mealy state machines, on the other hand, have outputs that vary with a change of state and with a change of inputs.

1. In mealy circuit the output depends upon present state as well as external input signal, while moore circuit output is depend only on present state.

2. In Moore machines the output changes only after active clock edge, & in mealy machines output can change in between the clock edges if the external input changes.

3. In Moore circuit Implementation of logic function needs more no. of states than Mealy circuit

That depends:simple passive circuits have no transistorsvacuum tube circuits have no transistorssolid state circuits can have anywhere from no transistors (just diodes and/or magnetic amplifying transformers) to as many transistors as needed to perform the function

Who proposed Moore's law?

Moore's Law, as a trend was first observed by Gordon Moore, co-founder of Intel who in a 1965 paper in Electronics Magazine, stated that the number of components in integrated circuits had doubled every year from the invention of the integrated circuit in 1958 until 1965" and predicted that the trend would continue "for at least ten years".

What did Gordon Moore invent?

He founded Intel and is author of Moore's law. This law states that the complexity of integrated circuits as measured by the number of transistors that can be packed into a single wafer will double every two years. It has been amazingly accurate especially when taking into account that he stated this in 1965.

When was Demi Moore born?

Demi Moore was born on November 11, 1962

What was Mary Tyler Moore famous for?

She was a very independent and successful woman who in no way depended on men, as she found most of her happiness in friendships rather than lasting romantic relationships. Also, the difference between her character Laura in Dick Van Dyke and Mary Richards in MTM shows a cultural shift in the independence of women.

What was Moore?

Moore's Law is not a law of physics, but is a mere trend. In 1965, Gordon Moore, Co-founder of Intel, noted that the number of components in integrated circuits had doubled every year from the invention of the integrated circuit in 1958 until 1965" and predicted that the trend would continue "for at least ten years". It is a trend that has been the driving force behind the silicon industry. This law is said to collapse by 2010.
