a microorganism can or can not be harmful for the host body but a pathogen is a microorganism which is always harmful for the host body.so ALL MICROORGANISMS ARE NOT PATHOGEN BUT ALL PATHOGENS ARE MICROORGANISMS.

Macro-evolution is evolution at and above the species level. Macro-evolution is divergence continued beyond speciation. It occurs because of the continuous, more or less random, variations that reproduction introduces into the genome of every new offspring. Because this variation is more or less random in nature, no two reproductively isolated populations will develop the same variations, and as a result, reproductively isolated populations are bound to diverge genetically (and as a result behaviourally and morphologically), with no set limit.

A Microorganism is a tiny organism which is invisible to the naked eye and can be viewed through a microscope, where as a macro organism is the one visible to the naked eye. One possibility is in term of - scopic or seeing. Macroscopic organisms can be seeing with the unaided eye. Microscopic organisms require a microscope or some other means of visual magnification

Microevolution is when a species slowly changes genes and evolves over time and changes its appearance but it is still the same species. Macroevolution is when species evolves so much that it has turned into a different species all together. Both of these evolution opinions have a species evolving over time in same way and for the same reasons.

Micro-evolution is a perspective on evolution, just life macro-evolution is a perspective on evolution. Micro-evolution is evolution seen at small scales; macro-evolution is evolution seen at larger scales. But they're both perspectives on the same process: reproductive variation and differential reproductive success causing divergence between populations.

Evolution is a general term meaning how species change over time.

This can be split into two groups- micro-evolution and macro-evolution.

Micro-evolution is the change within a species. For example, as humans we are slowly getting taller- however our short ancestors and ourselves were not different species.

Macro-evolution is the change between species, for example the transition from apes to humans.

The fundamental difference between these two types of evolution, other than the fact that one is between species and one is inside a species, is that micro-evolution is accepted everywhere as we can see it happening today, it also does not contradict with various creation accounts from religion. Macro-evolution on the other hand is not accepted by everyone as we cannot see it happening. It also goes against creation accounts such as the one of Genesis in which God created all the creatures as they are today- not as different oes that evolved into todays life on Earth.

Micro-evolution is technically defined as evolution within a species, anything up to speciation without actual speciation. Macro-evolution is all evolution starting with speciation.

It is important to note that these terms do not refer to different processes: they describe the same process, evolution. The only difference is an arbitrary line drawn by humans, like the line drawn between a walk around the block and a cross-county hike: they both refer to the process of walking; the only real difference is distance.

Which is macroevolution?

Macroevolution is evolution on a scale of separated gene pools. Macroevolutionary studies focus on change that occurs at or above the level of species, in contrast with microevolution, which refers to smaller evolutionary changes

Can microevolution form a new species?

Yes. In fact, microevolution, or allelic variance, is the mechanism by which new species emerge. Such an emergence is part of what some people call macroevolution. In other words, microevolution is the mechanism by which macroevolution is produced.

Is genetic drift an example of macroevolution?

No, genetic drift is an example of microevolution.

What statement about microevolution and macroevolution is true?

Described by the definition for evolution. Evolution is the change in allele frequency over time in a population of organisms. The prefered terms are evolution ( instead of microevolution ) and speciation ( instead of macroevolution ).

Are there complicated links between microevolution and macroevolution?

Microevolution is small evolutionary changes. Macroevolution is change above the specie level. Biologists debate if this process even exists. Some say they are fundamentally the same thing. It seems that macroevolution is the evolution of evolution. That sounds complicated.

Is macroevolution both a fact and theory?

The terms macroevolution and microevolution were first coined in 1927 by the Russian entomologist Philipchenko. Macroevolution is the term now used to refer to any evolutionary change at or above the level of species, such as the splitting of a species into two or the change of a species over time into another species. Microevolution refers to any evolutionary change below the level of species, and can also apply to changes that are not genetic.Creationists often assert that macroevolution is not proven, even if microevolution is, apparently meaning that whenever evolution is observed it is microevolution, never macroevolution. These claims are considered a misuse of authentic scientific terms. Macro Evolution is a theory; it is also a fact. For more information, please visit: http://christianity.answers.com/theology/the-story-of-creation

How does it happen macroevolution?

Macroevolution is just lots of small steps of microevolution. With many small steps a species can change so much it cannot breed with its unchanged former kin, and then it's considered a new species. If microevolution is considered seconds, macroevolution is minutes or hours. Acknowledging one exists is recognizing the other, too. ^^
