Difference of exocrine pancreas from endocrine pancreas?

Answer:
Exocrine pancreas is related to secretion of digestive enzymes that are secreted from secretory acini and transported to GIT through duct system. Main duct of this system is the pancreatic duct. While the endocrine pancreas is concerned with secretion of metabollic hormones- insuline and glucagon and small quantity of somatostatin, it has no duct system and secretions are poured directly into blood.
