Can 600mg of ibuprofen a day after back surgery cause any harm?

Never use any anti-inflamatories including ibuprophin after a spinal surgery that involves a fusion! This will impede the fusion rate. Always ask your surgeon about medications you plan on taking for the next year after a discectomy fusion.
