Can Lexapro and Wellbutrin be taken safely together and are there increased side effects?

My doctor prescribed Wellbutrin XL five days ago. I stopped taking lithium 450 mgs. and Lexapro 20 mgs. once a day immediately. Five hours after I took the Wellbutrin, I was hit with wicked diarheaa, headache, dizziness and nausea. Do you think this is caused by suddenly stopping the first two medications? The headache has dissipated but the diarheaa, dizziness, nausea have continued. I contacted my pharmacist and doctor and neither of them could give me an answer. How about taking a 10 mgs. of Lexapro to see if that helps the side effects? I took Wellbutrin years ago and don't remember these side effects.
