- Orange Oil is NOT an alternative to fumigation. I am a termite control Operator in California, qualifying manager of Prime Termite and Hydrex of Antelope Valley and can tell you for sure that Orange Oil, any other chemical treatment requires drilling holes every 3-6 inch for introducing that chemical (yes no matter what Orange Oil it is a chemical) to wood members. You just cannot drill all wood members in house every 3-6 inch. Drywood termite are not only where we think see them even when using inspection tools. They live deep inside the wood.
- However, there is a green alternative to fumigation which is able to eliminate all drywood termite without using any chemical no matter it is Orange, Lemon, Watermelon etc.
- It is the Complete Heat or Thermigation.
- Fumigation on the other hand should be the past, but it is not. I think people should not try to save money and fumigate. Even though thermigation is a little more time-consuming and one cannot put a tent in 3-5 houses everyday but do only one decent heat job, it should not let people to go for phony treatments and taking meaningless claims which I wonder how people believe.
