that has to be the most thought provoking response i have ever read. my dog, weight 19 kg., has flea allergies, and we just came from the vet who prescribed once again prednisone. they want her to have 40 mg. a day that's 20 mg every twelve hours. that equates to near 1 mg. per body weight that doesn't make sense. we often perceive doctors, vets included to be all knowing, but that seems like an awful lot of medicine for a dog. i remember the first and i suspect the last time, she was on that stuff and it was horrible. i wish there were an alternative.
