i have to say in response to the above poster everyone has freedom of choice and can chose to do wicca 'for a while' if they want,
who are you to tell them other wise?
just because it is serious, important and integrated into your life does not mean no-one who dosnt think of it the way you do shouldnt or cant do it

im sure you are very proud of your heritage, fair enough and rightfully so, but you cant start judging people who are dabbling, dabbling is how anything comes about, it dosnts just begin as serious and a religion

wicca is very much about spirituality and doing what is right for YOU not for someone else who dosnt agree with you.
and for you to lecture other people for simply having an interest and trying it out to see if its right for them is disgusting and certainly not what wicca or any nature orientated religion or practice is about.

if some-one wants to do wicca as a hobby thats fine, if someone wants to do one spell and incantation here and there thats fine, infact its fine, whatever is right for each person is fine, it can be whatever you want it to be as long as you are doing it with good intentions and love

as a born wiccan you are entilted to do what you want but so is any non born wiccan and judging and lecturing is not going to give wiccans a good name if you judge and lecture the same as some other organized religions.
you can not go about saying that if you dont feel it early on in your life you cant do it, shouldnt do it and are not welcome. thats rubbish, theres no "must feel it early on" involved. utter rubbish.

and i can assure you wicca wasnt just born into existance, someone first had to start dabbling init it as a 'hobby' to get good at it and harness the powers that exist

stop being so up yourself (which is what i have picked up on with the way you are talking about being a born wiccan and your need to profess your family history) and accept wicca has turned mainstream, and be HAPPY with the fact that lots more people are trying it out.
