Remove the fruit totally out of the area it is in now, then put the jar lid full of apple cider Vinegar in a couple of places where you spot the buggers. wait about 2 days for the fake attractant to do its thing. The apple cider vinegar will fool the fruit fly into thinking the vinegar is fruit, fly will drink vinegar and fly will drown in the apple cider vinegar and there shouldnt be any flies left. If you see more flies buzzing around after 2 days, do it again till there is no sign of them left. I was very skeptical, tried it and it really works. The apple cider vinegar only costed me 79 cents.
