For example, if your best friend who really loves you and you love someone else who returns your love, then you should stick with person you love because you would never be able to make your best friend happy if you choose him. This is because you would not be able to love him. And a person who loves somebody can never be content unless they have their love returned.

But if, your best friend loves you and the person you love doesnt return your love, then there are many things to be kept in mind. One thing would be to eliminate any doubt that the person you are in love with DOESNT love you. Ask that person directly or risk making a huge mistake. If its a no, and you still love that person, then explain to your best friend that there's a possibility you may never feel the same way about him and ask him to give you time. If in that time you think you can be happy and may even begin to love that person a little whether or not you're IN love with him, its well and good.

In matters of the heart, decisions shouldnt be taken in a rash manner. It requires lots of patience, time and understanding
