Was Abraham Lincoln an African American?

Throughout history, there's been a vast number of Blacks that have successfully passed for White and emerged themselves within White society. I've had several relatives that have successfully done so. In fact, I currently have a younger half sister(we have the same father) who's currently married to a White man and is passing for White. WHY COULDN'T ABRAHAM LINCOLN HAVE DONE THE SAME THING? This is the reason a lot of women who are socially, politically, economically and legally considered White are producing babies that appear mixed, including twins.

It's not like they had television or the internet to project his image so that the world could see. THIS IS 2009, WE HAVE A BLACK PRESIDENT, AND SOME OF YOU STILL CAN'T BRING YOURSELVES TO ACCEPT THE IDEA THAT ABRAHAM LINCOLN WAS BLACK. SOME ARE SO FILLED WITH HATRED AND DENIAL THEY REFUSE TO ACCEPT WE HAVE A BLACK PRESIDENT NOW. WHY DO YOU THINK IT WOULD BE ANY EASIER FOR VOTERS THAT EXISTED DURING AN ERA OF SLAVERY AND EXTREME BLACK HATRED TO ACCEPT IT?

Let me take a guess, there was heavy racism back then...and Abe's opponent wanted to win...so he did a little fear mongering and mudslinging based upon people's ignorance at the time...and let's not forget there are plenty of races, whites included, that are darker skinned than others and have courser hair than others...this is just ridiculous logic perpetrated by a book writer with an agenda.

Next thing you know we will come to find out one of the Wright brothers was secretly black too!!! Ahhh...good old "PC" at work once again!

The Black person would pay them a fee and the White secret society would give them a new White identity. maybe they just said he was black because he defended the blacks, so they drew him as an african american in cartoons.
