- I kinda like the previous answers. I have learned it is most effective to wait till your anger dies, then be sure to treat them with kindness, and try to make it genuine. This is akin to "heaping burning coals on thier head" according to the Bible. Stay away from them and pray you can stay calm if you must be near them...then kill em with kindness.
- God says "If your enemies are hungry, give them something to eat. And if they are thirsty, give them something to drink. This will be the same as piling burning coals on their heads. And the LORD will reward you."
- This has a twofold affect:
- 1. The infidel is shocked, and thanks to your better example, sees there is a better way to act (they do not get the desired results and their own evil ways stick out soooo much more than if you respond in anger...can you spell conviction?).
- 2. You only become guilty of treating someone well. What a great position to be in! There is power in right behavior!
- This does not mean to give in to someone of evil intent, because the Bible also says "When a good person gives in to the wicked, it's like dumping garbage in a stream of clear water."
- However, He also says Revenge is His.
