- I've just been in contact with the New Hampshire DMV (12/1/10). I asked if my daughter, with a MA Learners Permit, can drive in NH. I was told yes she can drive in NH with her learners permit as long as she has proof of age and is accompanied by a licensed driver who is at least 25 years old.
- According to the NH Driver’s Manual:
- http://www.nh.gov/safety/divisions/dmv/documents/nhdm.pdf under the section titled:
- PRACTICE DRIVING
- “A person may practice driving a non-commercial vehicle on New Hampshire roadways provided s/he has attained the age of 15 ½ carries proof of age, and is accompanied in the front seat by a parent, legal guardian, or other licensed adult who is 25 years of age or older.”
- NH does not require their residents to get a learners permit.
