Do Asian women prefer not to date African-American men?

I am aware that there are certain racial tensions among some Asian cultures and those people of African, and Indian, descent. I have been told this by many Chinese people I have known. And this attitude is not exclusive to the U.S. It exists in many places over the globe. However, I am not Asian or black, so I do not know the nature or origin of this tension. I believe it would be stereotypical to assume that this attitude extends only to dating, and that it applies to all people of these cultures. Many people firmly believe that inter-racial dating is undesireable (although I myself do not adhere to this belief). I believe a woman's preferences would depend on her openmindedness and the pressures that she feels from her family on what constitutes a good match according to tradition.
