Call UGG customer service 1.888.432.8530, it says right on their automated answering machine that UGGs are made from sheep SKIN, meaning not only is the wool there but the skin is attached too. And if that still isn't enough to convince you then stay on hold and ask the representative. She will tell you they buy the sheepskin from a slaughterhouse that killed the sheep for its meat. Why just throw the sheepskin away when the slaughterhouse can sell it. They are actually being very resourceful.
