no They shed a little, but never a lot.
Yorkies do not have an undercoat, so they will lose hair about as much as a human. Shedding can be reduced by grooming/brushing the yorkie regularly.i dont really like them.
Yes, but not as much as a lot of other breeds. The hairs go through a growing phase, then a rest, then eventually fall out, just like our hairs do. But not a lot fall out at the same time.
no they do not shed.
no
Yorkies do not shed so you need to take it to the vet asap
Well they dont shed a huge amount because they are a small dog. They do shed though because they do have longer hair but they are a small breed.
i am proud to say no they do not shed witch is good for people who have Asama and want a dog well if u are reffering to teacup yorkies!
Not really. Yorkies are one of the very few breeds that barely shed at all. If you are concerned about dander, definitely go with a yorkie!
yorkies have hair not fur. they do not shed and their hair will continue to grow
YES! They are one of the few Dogs that do not shed. My dad has Horrible allergies and we have 3 of them.
Yorkies dont shed, they are hypoallergenic, if they do shed, they're probably mixed with a real bad shedder, other wise, its impossible. they probably have fleas, or have never been trained.
Not just Yorkies, all dogs shed, so if your child is allergic to dogs then keep him away from ALL dogs. Not just Yorkies, even if they tend to shed a lot too. It all depends on the individual. My children and I have asthma and our Yorkie doesn't bother us at all. I do bathe him every couple days as well as take him to the groomer every other month, just to keep all of our allergies in check (even his!)
Yorkies don't shed because they have similar fur to human hair. So you can wash a yorkie as much times as your hair ;)
They have hair, because they don't shed, and animals with fur, do shed!
Shih tzu is perfect. and yorkies are too but the are yappy dogs
