Naturally, animals that eat the strawberries disperse the seeds in faeces, but more modernly, humans cultivate the plants and extract the seeds, grow them and may dispatch the seedlings across the globe. <><><><> Strawberries MAY be grown from seed, however, almost all domestic strawberries are a hybrid- the plants that result from the seeds will not look- or produce berries like the parent plant. Strawberries mainly reproduce by sending out a runner that takes root, and becomes a new plant.
Strawberries are the only fruit with the seeds on the outside. On average there are 200 seeds all around that red fruit. Did you know that strawberries are members of the rose family?
No. The number of seeds is determined long before the apple reaches its maximum size. It depends on the number of ovules in the flower, and the number of seeds that are fertilized and which then mature. Seed counts in various fruit varies from species to species as well as cultivar to cultivar

Apples have an indeterminate amount of seeds. Not all ovules are fertilised and so not all of them form into seeds. The number of seeds is also determined by the variety of apple.
