AT&T, Tmobile, and Suncom are GSM networks that use sim cards...If u have an unlocked GSM fone, you can use any of them. However if you buy a fone from one of them, you have to get it unlocked b4 switching to another carrier.
All networks that operate on the Global System for Mobile Communication (GSM) network use sim cards. Availability depends on the region you wish to have mobile service in so you must check plans in that particular region for phone carriers that operate on this particular network.
Some do. For instance, my Sprint Galaxy S4 has a Sim Card, and my friend's really old Android 1.0 phone from AT&T has a sim card too. However, my old Galaxy S3 did not have one, so I guess it depends on the phone.
Cellular phones use sim cards. These include the cellular phones of AT & T, T-Mobile, and a couple of phones of Verizon.
AT&T Wireless (formerly Cingular Wireless)
Centennial wireless
T-Mobile
Any others? Feel free to add it!
iPhones are the phones that usually uses the tmobile sims.
Droid x 3. from what i understand any verizon phone with a sim card. The sim card makes it a world phone.
There are many cell phones that has a sim card. Mostly, all cell phones come with a sim card because most of them are prepaid phones. Trac Fone, Verizon and there are many other phones that have a sim card.
That last answer is completely false to get a Verizon Sim card you should look at there global phones for example blackberry storm
Verizon does not use sim cards in their phones (except the iPhone). So no you would not be able to use an AT&T Sim card in a new Verizon phone. sorry.
There is no sim card in Verizon, Sprint, or Alltel phones. The reason is that they operate on CDMA technology which does not require sim cards.
There are many mobile phones that do not require a SIM card, it depends on the service provider. Any phones from Sprint and Verizon do not use SIM cards.
I recently had a new Droid Razr Maxx and it did have a half sife SIM card
Nope, Verizion and Sprint are CDMA signal providers. They do not use SIM card. GSM phones do such as AT&T and T-Mobile.
Both phones use a micro-SIM card, so provided they are both under Verizon, you should be able to move the SIM from one phone to another.
I do know that the Verizon Storm2 takes a sim card because I'm presently using the sim card from T-Mobile. I've used my sim card in an AT & T phone with no issues making or receving calls. You can receive MMS but not send it. But the MMS and internet are a hassle that need diferent settings.
TMobile and Verizon are incompatible. As are every other two separate phone services. The only way to use a TMobile sim card in a Verizon phone, is to get the Verizon "unlocked". You can do this at most mobile phone shops, but not all of them and most likely not an official Verizon or TMobile shop. This will cost you.
No. The only Verizon Wireless phones that use SIM cards are Global Phones. SIM cards are only used for the GSM technology. Verizon Wireless runs off of the CDMA technology. So... if you switch the SIM card, the phone still won't work because it has nothing to do with the CDMA and that's what Verizon Wireless works off of. HOWEVER, you can activate a Verizon Wireless phone on an existing account by dialing *228 pressing SEND then choosing option 3.
