The 'seven sisters' in the Holyoke Range near Northampton MA is an east-west range.
The San Gabriel , San Bernardino, and Tehachapi Mountains in Southern California all run East and West. There are two peaks among them that are over 10.000 feet. As well as the Ouachita pronounced (wosh-i-taw) mountains in OK, the Unita mountains of Utah which are 13,528 ft at the highest, Grouse Creek (in Utah and Idaho).
