butterflies do not have tentacles, they have antennae,a proboscis[to drink nectar, tounge] a,body,3sections,names I do not recall[thorax, head, and?],legs, with sensory bottoms, and eyes.wings, covered in colorful dust which allow the butterfly to fly.I'm not sure, about their sense of smell,or what it would be called, but definitely no tentacles.

No, while butterfly and moth wings are covered in small dusty structures that look like feathers, these are in fact called scales and are in no way related to feathers.

No, they have been lost as butterflies do not require a piercing mouthpart to feed.
