If your cat "hates" lavender (the flower) it could be allergic. I'm assuming your a new owner, so here is another reason your cat could hate lavender: Some certain plants dogs and cats CANNOT eat because they may get sick and can sometimes even die! Like grass, cats eat it when they are sick to threw up. Make sure your cat is careful around plants. Have a nice day.
No. In my experience with cats, they love the smell of lavender and even eat it. Lavender is related to catnip and will give the cat similar effects, so if you are looking to attract cats then plant, mint or lavender.
it depends. some cats do and some cats dont

You should not use Clorox or any type of bleach to keep cats away. Clorox and bleach are poisonous and can kill the cats.
i would say so. i have 3 cats, but im not gonna try that on them.
Good question. It's a way of marking its territory. When cats sharpen their claws they are not only sharpening their claws, but they have scent glands on their paws that leaves a scent marking. It's not that noticeable to humans, but other cats notice it.
Put fox scent (or urine) which you can buy at your local co-op and put around your vehicle.
