At work we have cocker roaches, which I am afraid to bring home with me. Some of them fly and the other's do not, therefore, I am wondering if the flying cocker roaches are not as bad as a non flying roach. I always thought that the flying roach is only seasonal when you have lots of trees. When summer is over they are gone. Is this true?
yes they do
A cockroach has two wings.
The nymph does not have wings while the adult cockroach does have wings.
No. They may be winged or wingless, but even some species with wings cannot fly.
Yes they do
Because they have a exoskeleton so it gives them wings.
It does not have
no they do not have until they are adults
bhen ki puch
to walk and fly
Similarity between young and adult cockroach is that they have the same number of legs
A young cockroach cannot fly. When they become adults, American cockroaches can fly though and only once their wings are fully developed.
The front pair of wings overlaps over the back. They are narrow, thick and leathery. The back wings are more like a membrane and are folded fan-like.
