Do extraterrestrial lifeforms really exist?

Answer:
An extraterrestrial life form is any form of life that did not evolve on Earth. That includes plant life, micro organisms, animals from other planets, and, possibly even some forms of life that have evolved out in space.

So far, Earth is the only planet we know that supports life. We have no evidence that any life exists elsewhere. However, recent discoveries of microorganisms that exist in extreme conditions on Earth have scientists suspecting that such organisms may exist on other planets and the search is ongoing.
