Well, they can get lost in your eye.. Luckily it rarely happens. They do expire aswell. First of all it depends on what you mean by "bad"

They might infect your eye's, thats why its really important to soak them in the Solution Liquid for 2 hours before applying them.
Obviously they never go mouldy, dusty, ect.
