Most fish do not have penises. The male squirts the sperm out of his body from a hole, and the female squirts out eggs from a hole in her body. The eggs are then fertilized by the sperm. Some species of fish however do have penises, or a type of organ called a gonopodium, more or less similar to a human male penis. The females of these fish give birth to live young, they do not squirt out eggs.

Most fish have structures called "gonopodium" or "claspers" instead of penises. These structures are used to transfer sperm to the female during mating. However, not all fish have these structures and reproductive organs can vary between different fish species.

Technically no HOWEVER some male fish do use tubes, often called "gonopodiums" to internally fertilise eggs, meaning the females keep the eggs inside her until they hatch, also known as "livebearers" - to include the commonly kept pet fish, the Guppy. To the layman this could be referred to as a "penis" as it does basically the same function!

Studies have been done and found that female livebearers will prefer males with longer gonopodiums. The Black Chin Livebearer is one of many species with a very long gonopodium at least half the length of his body. Size matters for livebearer females!
