Do great white sharks eat humans?

1. No. They have really excellent senses, by getting the features of Megalodon. They rarely attack humans-they dont like eating them. They attack because they made a mistake. They confuse human body parts for prey. But they kill humans even more rarely, by an overpowered surprise attack. But they are very smart sharks, perhaps one of the smartest.

4. Great whites actually do not like to eat humans. They 'taste' humans for the same reason they 'taste' motors and other stuff in the ocean.

5. Agreed with the first answer, they don't eat humans but mistaken them as their natural prey for example surfer as seen from underneath [the water] looks like seal. White sharks are intelligent and curious apex predators, the great whites sit at the top of the marine food chain even though they're hunt by some humans, they have no natural predators. That lead them to be so confident by nature and extremely curious. The question above have been answered but why do they bite people then? well great whites like to investigate unknown objects in or on the water, when they are unable to identify an object they bite to gather more information. The other answer to why they bite people is they might mistaken humans for their normal prey as the example have been given above.

Yes there has been many recorded killings, but there has been scientific explanations as to why they did it, such as they thought the human was a fish.
