No. They are using a form bullying and this is never good. A little teasing is a way for teen boys to show they like a girl, but not insults. A fellow who insults is really a very fearful fellow who wants power and control. He only gets that from insulting other people and being a bully. Ignore boys who do this and walk away. That really takes the wind of out a boy's sails because the boy can't get the power/control he is after.
