Why is it that you never get over your first love?

The same reason why us women cant get over our first love. Because first love is something that for the first time shows us what its like to love someone. It opens our eyes into something new, something that feels good and something we always want to have. That's why we never want to let go of it.

It is difficult for a man to get over his first love because as it is, men don't open up their hearts. When we open up for the first time just to have it crushed, it makes us never forget that first person that we loved and crushed us.

Of Corse we do! Men just like women never ever forget their first love and in my opinion the same as women still love and never get over their first love. I am 20 and came out of a relationship with my first love a 3months ago and still breaks my heart thinking of how special it was and how amazing we were together because every1 new we were a match made in heaven. We ended she never told me why though then within a few weeks she found another boyfriend, even though I was supposedly her first love it only took her 5weeks to find another boyfriend. So just like women we never ever forget or stop loving our first love because they are the first ones who start the fire in us who show us how love is and because of the memories u have with that person. My first love we did so many great things together which I always think about and trust me our bond and connection was really tight. I will always love her until the day I die she was amazing, beautiful, funny and so many other things. I will always cherish our memories, love and photos of her and I do hope 1 day we will meet again and maybe get back with each other as we were a match made in heaven you just new we were right for each other. Deep down i think she still loves me even though she will deny it and has a new boyfriend who shes bin with for 2months now. So yes we do remember our first love and love them and never forget them we will always remember them and love them until the day we die, I still love my first love 2 bits that it even brings tears to my eyes thinking of her and what we had and hoping we will ever get back together. its because that person was ya first and u dont no how to move on but if it wasnt ment to be u'll probaly start crushing on someone else but it will happen when it happen so jus leave things hw it is and sooner or laaterr u might get over ya first love
