I'm a 65 year old female and this is strictly my opinion, but yes, I do believe many men can take it harder than women. Women seem to be more romantic and put their "all" into relationships and usually take the relationship very seriously. It's often times hard to read a man's mind on this subject. I've seen many men devastated by a lost love and some never find or want to find someone else to replace that lost love. Men are just human and they hurt. They may get drunk, act foolish, flirt, date another woman right away and sometimes jump from the frying pan into the fire. It's just their way in some cases. Other men can move on. It's scientifically proven that men who are widowers are completely lost without their mate, while women who become widows are sad, upset, miss their mate like crazy, but are stronger and can eke out a life for themselves. Some marry, some don't and others rely on their friends and join clubs. Men are more apt to "go into themselves" and unless a woman seeks them out it's doubtful a high percentage would ever remarry or at least date another woman (when older.) Because there are over 3 times more women in the world than men the stats are higher of course that some women take longer to heal. Everyone is different, and every situation is different, but I would say that in general women take longer to heal after someone cheats on them. Women value trust more than men, so when they lose it, it hurts more. But this is a stereotype; there are plenty of exceptions. But the answer above me doesn't agree with mine, and it seems well supported. This is very subjective. -DJ Craig

If a toddler ever sustains a burn of any kind, they should be immediately taken to the hospital. That being said, superficial burns should heal in a few days. More serious burns will take longer to heal and need to be under a doctor's supervision.

I'd wait till your lobes are completely or nearly completely healed. Cartilage piercings take longer to heal and if your body is trying to heal your lobes AND cartilage at the same time, it'll take even longer for your cartilage to heal. So, 2-3 mths.
The skin around it will be dry and it'll take longer to heal.
Usually, yes. They just get bumped more and stay cranky longer.
Healing does seem to take a bit longer to heal during colder weather. This is so on account of the winter days keep individuals inside and staying inside while not doing much for months on end slows the metabolism. When the metabolism is slowed down it takes longer to heal a wound.
