Do mice stink? |

their pee is what stinks, male mice smell more because they use their urine to scent mark whereas female mice urinate to empty their bladder like humans. I had a male mouse and every now and then I used to wash him to freshen him up.....I now have two female mice who don't need washing....
If you are considering getting a male mouse, he will scent mark the same areas in his cage so maybe change the bedding and sawdust once a week but in the area where he marks, change it daily, just be prepared as soon as you clean it he will go there again!!
