No, DNA is basically made up of sets of alliels. Fathers and sons (and daughters)(biological) share certain alliels. Mothers also share them with their children.

yes ...... father and son should have same DNA....... but mother's chromosomes also plays a very vital role to define DNA of any generation.

If the parent reproduces sexually, it's offspring will inherit exactly half of it's DNA. The other half is inherited from the other parent. If the parent reproduces asexually, it's offspring will be a clone (i.e. have the same DNA).

No, because it has the exact same genetic information as the parent, uses fluids from its skin to make a shell that looks just like its parent, and it feeds on the same food.

Half of a child's DNA comes from each parent. This means that the child's DNA will not exactly match either of the parents - but will be exactly half of each. The child's DNA is a combination of the parents.

Ask yourself this. Are you different from your parents...? Of course you are!

Offspring have been given, through conception, different parts of the genetic make-up of two parents, so each person is unique. Not all offspring are, however. Some offspring, like some coral polyps are exact copies of their "parents". There are a variety of ways species reproduce to continue their populations.

No, this is not true. There were possibly several crossover exchanges between the pairs of chromosomes that swapped genes, making "new" patterns of genes on the offspring chromosomes than existed it either parent's chromosomes. There might also have been mutations of several types.

Why is the offspring not identical to parent in asexual reproduction?

The offspring is not identical to parent in sexual reproduction because sexual reproduction produces an offspring that is genetically different from the parents. ---- The answer above is actually incorrect. The offspring is identical genetically to the parent because mitosis produces cells genetically identical to the parent cell or cells. But the offspring itself is not identical.
