Not much different than North Americans do now. I'm sure there are "donkey carts" but I can't find much on it. I just thought this answer would be better than the previous answer of "teleportation"

South American countries are very fashion conscious and latest fashions from around the world can be found. What is not normally worn would be heavy winter coats, fur lined hoods and boots.
